A family tradition that creates connection

Why Welvanpas

The name Welvanpas has a special meaning to me. It represents heritage, responsibility, trust and long-term thinking — values that also define how I work as a Senior Operator.

During a business trip to South Africa, I came across the story of the Retief family and the Welvanpas wine estate. Its combination of family tradition, entrepreneurship, continuity and responsibility left a lasting impression on me.

This story inspired me to rename my companies in the Netherlands and Germany Welvanpas.

Today, Welvanpas represents a clear commitment in my work: taking responsibility through periods of transition with trust, structure and accountability — particularly when stability, governance and long-term value creation matter.

Welvanpas therefore stands for stability, responsibility and sustainable value creation in times of transition.
